Google updates Nexus One with multi-touch support

Today Google finally added multi-touch support to Nexus One via an official update. Pinch-to-zoom is now a supported features for all Nexus One users. We installed it and found out that it works perfectly, like it was meant to be there from the beginning.
If you don't want to wait for Google to notify you of the new update (which may take a few days or even weeks), follow the steps below. You can be sure that this is the official Google way to manually update the phone !
- Download the update from Google

- Rename the file to update.zip and copy it to the Nexus One SD card;
- Power off the phone, and press the power button while at the same time pushing the trackball;
- Using the volume buttons, select Bootloader by pressing the power button. On the next screen, select "recovery"
- After the phone reboots, press the power button and volume button simultaneously. Try again if it doesn't work
- Using the trackball select "Apply sdcard:update.zip";
- After reboot, the phone either boots normally or an android outside of a box appears. In this case, reboot again;
- Enjoy pinch-and-zoom and improved 3G connectivity ! :)
